I Hate the Astro A30 Headset So Much For Being...
Since I’ve been putting time into CoDBlOps, and using the terrible 360 headset, I thought it might be time to get a good 360 headset. What I did not expect to find was something that functioned as a PS3 & 360 headset, a PC headset, and a mobile phone headset. Which is exactly what I needed… a year or so ago.

Dear Netflix,
It would be really awesome if I could sort of pre-cache a video stream, so that when I’m only connected to the 3G network I can still watch the video I want to. I mean then you can still do DRM checking every so often over the 3G network, I just want to be able to load things up before hand when I’m on wifi.

Maybe because you took the game out of the capable hands of a western dev team, and gave it to an Japanese team asking them to make it appeal to the west.

MTV dropping Harmonix makes sense →
MTV (well Viacom their parent company) is apparently trying to sell of Harmonix, and that sort of makes sense seeing as MTV owning Harmonix was a little odd to begin with. I mean it was a great partnership, and is probably one of the major factors in why Rock Band was able to be such a big success, but with music games kind of on the way out its probably the best time for MTV to let Harmonix go....
Idea Time
I thought of two potential ideas for things for me to do with my tumblr blog, rather then it sit here abandoned (and somewhat old.)
1) Post about food and restaurants in NYC (and possibly other places too.) Since there seems to be no shortage of good food there, and working in the city means I have access to a lot of it.

My NYC Outing
Friend’s place in Queens -> Bareburger (lunch (Ostrich bacon cheddar burger (yum))) -> nap -> McSorley’s Old Ale House (10+ beers?) -> Bi Bim Bop place Ramen place (dinner (delicious ramen and curry)) -> hookah bar (smelled nice, not that I smoke.) -> late train back to NJ -> sleep
How Not to Write A Game Review →
It doesn’t start as a bad review, but the reviewer just gets too caught up in being clever instead of reviewing the game. I mean it’s fine being clever, but that should have stopped after the first full paragraph. Instead it really muddles the whole review, making it rather confusing and hard to follow. A Funny Story from the Scott Pilgrim Premiere
Before the movie started they showed a trailer for this movie called “the Devil,” (I think.) It seems to be about 5 people trapped in an elevator, but then something starts trying to kill them, and you aren’t sure if its one of the people or something sneaking into the elevator.
So it seems like kind of an interesting horror/thriller movie, but then about 3/4 through the trailer...

Follow up on soup rice thing
So that chicken soup rice thing actually turned out to be a lot better the next day. As it turned out the rice absorbed all the chicken soup, so what I was left with was kind of a risotto. It was, however, a little bland so I added some tabasco sauce to it. It needs better flavoring next time.

A Comic I Read: Teppu
Starting reading this manga a little while back called Teppu. It’s basically about a high school girl getting involved in woman’s mixed martial arts fighting, and from the description I read of it it seemed like it would be a shounen fighting style comic, which it isn’t at all.
